For my environmental portrait, I photographed my sister, Camille. I took inspiration from the professor's powerpoint and shot in her natural surroundings without flashy props, a set up, or her posing in anyway. Instead, I had her do what she likes to do most, which is draw. She took out all her supplies, she works in sharpies, and spread them out in no particular order. The only props were her materials and her sketchbooks. I decided to chose the one where she is actively drawing and not looking at the camera to better portray her personality rather than looks. I think this is a great representation of my sister.
